The Brasilia National Stadium is the football stadium to be built in Brasilia, Federal District, replacing the Mane Garrincha Stadium, which was demolished. The new stadium will be built according to all FIFA requirements to host some matches of 2014 FIFA World Cup to be held in Brazil. The capacity audience of the new stadium is estimated at 71,400 people.
Currently the stadium is in the progress of the works in good stage, reaching 40% of the total construction.
The Brasília National Stadium is the opening stage of the Confederations Cup in 2013 and have seven games in the world 2014. The Brazilian team will make its third game in this beautiful stadium.
